Daily Care Chemicals

The largest of our four lines: 290 materials covering the full oil phase, emulsifier pair, preservation system and sun-care package for skincare, colour cosmetics, hair care and wet wipes. Eight white mineral oil grades and five dimethicone viscosities are held as standing stock; the rest are produced against order with a 2–3 week lead time.

What this line covers

This line is built around the oil phase. Almost every formula starts with an emollient system — mineral oil, dimethicone, an ester or a natural triglyceride — and then needs an emulsifier pair, a preservation system and, for sun care, a filter package. We supply all four layers from one purchase order, which is why most of our daily-care customers consolidate rather than split across suppliers.

The preservative range deserves a note. Our 27 YS grades are not one product sold under different names; each is formulated for a specific substrate and pH window — wet wipes at pH 5.5, liquid detergent at pH 8–9, coatings and building materials at alkaline pH. Tell us the application and we will point you to the right grade, or send the COA of the one you are currently using and we will match it.

Documentation is standard: TDS, COA and MSDS for every material, with CAS numbers and INCI names stated on the product page. Packing runs from 1 kg samples to 200 kg drums and IBC totes. For repeat buyers we hold reserved stock against a forecast.

Buying questions

Can you supply a preservative matched to our existing system?

Yes. Send the COA or the INCI list of the product you use now and we will propose the closest YS grade, then confirm with a challenge test protocol if you require one.

What is the minimum order for white mineral oil?

One drum (200 kg) per viscosity grade, or a mixed pallet across grades. Samples of 1 kg are available at indicative cost.

Are the products PEG-free?

The polyglyceryl range is PEG-free and designed as a direct replacement for ethoxylated emulsifiers. The PEG and ceteareth series remain available where cost is the priority.
